OUR VISION

At Tidal Therapy Solutions, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care that promotes maximum functional independence and success. We prioritize patient education to ensure long-term success even after discharge. Our approach involves delivering treatment in the most natural environment for all patients, which is why we offer services within the community. We take pride in treating the whole patient by developing individualized treatment plans, goals, and priorities. We focus on understanding the "why" behind the diagnosis to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals and improve carryover and quality of life for our patients.

Meet the Owners

  • Danielle McLean

    OWNER AND SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Daniele is a speech language pathologist who has been practicing for almost 10 years. She is originally from NJ and moved to NC to be closer to the beach and warmer weather. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the Pennsylvania State University and then received her Master's degree from New York Medical College. Through the years, she has worked with patients the age of a few days old to over 100 years old. She has worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, home health, acute rehabilitation, NICU, and outpatient therapy. She specializes in orofacial myofunctional disorders, chewing and swallowing/feeding disorders, assessment and treatment of tethered oral tissues, developmental delays in speech and language, apraxia, motor speech disorders, Aphasia, progressive neurological diseases, and cognitive linguistic impairments. She is certified in Vital stim therapy for dysphagia, kinesiology taping and myofascial release techniques for children and adults suffering from TMJ. She has a two-year-old sweet baby boy who is the light of her life. She also has a loving energetic dog named Zoey. "The things that give me the most fulfillment in life are spending time with my family and helping my patients".

  • Laura Futrell

    OWNER AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Laura is a North Carolina native who has worked as an Occupational Therapist for twelve years. She received Bachelor of Science degrees from NC State and UNC Wilmington, and then completed her Master's at Winston Salem State University. Throughout her career, she has worked in various settings including skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient therapy. She takes pride in providing skilled therapy to individuals ranging from four months to one hundred and two years old. Laura's passion lies in pediatric therapy as she deeply believes in Nelson Mandela's quote "Children are our greatest treasure. They are our future." Laura and her husband are proud parents of two children, Whitman and Abby. When she's not working, you can find her playing outside with her kids, relaxing on her porch exploring Pinterest, or working on yet another DIY project. Laura is thrilled about her adventure with Tidal Therapy Solutions and is looking forward to meeting you!
